William G Search diversifies with Volvo mini excavators

Leeds-based William G Search - best known for site accommodation, amenities, plant and hydraulic platforms hire - has entered the compact excavator rental business with a fleet of four 1.5t Volvo EC15BXR mini excavators.

"Over the past nine months we've been getting an increasing number of enquiries for mini excavators as part of an overall hire package," said group hire operations manager Andrew Collings.

The company evaluated the market and settled on the Volvo EC15B because of its good maintenance access and robustness of build.
