CTE wins £1m order for 30 platforms

CTE UK, the British subsidiary of Italian access equipment manufacturer CTE, has secured an order worth more than £1m for 30 of its Z-series machines from London-based Smart Platform Rental.

The order includes Z14, Z17 and Z20 machines, all mounted on 3.5t chassies. This takes the number of CTE machines in Smart's fleet to more than 60.

Smart Platform director Andy Burt said customers like the 3.5t vehicle as it can be driven on a normal car licence, making it ideal for the self-drive market.
