WANDSWORTH BOROUGH COUNCIL
COMPETITIVE TENDERING for the On-Street COLLECTION of CASH from PAY
AND
DISPLAY MACHINES and SUBSEQUENT COUNTING and BANKING SERVICE
Experienced contractors who wish to be considered for inclusion
on a Select
List of Contractors to provide an on-street collection of cash from
pay and
display machines, situated within the London Borough of
Wandsworth
boundaries and the subsequent counting and banking service, should
apply to
the Director of Technical Services Finance Division, 7th Floor, The
New
Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London SW18 2PU, marked for
the
attention of Peter Almond, by no later than 3rd June 2003.
The contract will be for four years commencing 1st November
2003.
Tenders will be returned no later than 17th September 2003.
Interested parties must provide the following with their expression
of
interest:
* A brief history and outline of the company, including the
current
number of employees.
* Details of current and recent contracts undertaken in this
field,
including the names and addresses of at least three clients
(preferably in
the public sector) together with the name of an individual at each
who can
provide a reference.
* Copies of the latest audited accounts (including group
consolidated
accounts if the company is part of a group).
* The names and addresses of the company's bankers.
* A copy of your insurance certificate under employer's liability,
a
professional indemnity and public liability and if the public
liability is
not to a minimum of £5,000,000 a statement that this will be
obtained if
awarded the contract.
* A copy of your company's Health and Safety Policy
Statement.
It is anticipated that tenders will be invited no later than 4th
August
2003. A Performance Bond and/or a parent company guarantee will
be
required from the successful tenderer.
