Internal painting of swing bridge - Preston City Council

PRESTON CITY COUNCIL
Preston City Council is preparing a contract for the INTERNAL painting of
the 30 metre long box girder swing bridge at Riversway Docklands.
The Council would be pleased to accept applications from suitably qualified
and experienced contractors to be considered for inclusion on a select
tender list.
The work involves the blast cleaning and remedial painting of approximately
1400 Square Metres of internal Box Girder Steelwork and will commence in
late October/early November 2003.
Applicants will be required to satisfy the Council regarding their
financial viability and technical competence.
Companies interested in tendering should apply in writing, to the address
given below quoting reference EST.RW 03 Bridge painting.
The deadline for the expression of interest is 12:00 Noon, 19th May 2003.
