Ben Bailey confident of a good year

Ben Bailey PLC has admitted today (Friday) that it remains confident of meeting its expectations for the current year.

Speaking at the company's AGM, chairman Richard Bailey said forward reservations have continued at "a very satisfactory level" since the year-end with no downward pressure on selling prices.

He added that further progress has been made this year in respect of land holdings - at the end of April, land holdings totalled 1,062 plots with a further 475 plots under contract awaiting legal completion.
