EC seeks comment on Amey purchase

The European Commission (EC) has said today (Wednesday) that it is inviting comments on the acquisition by Ferrovial Servicios SA of Amey PLC.

Ferrovial announced a bid for Amey at 32p a share, which valued the company at £81m, on 16 April.

Interested parties now have 10 days in which to submit their comments to the commission.

The outcome of its initial inquiry will take place on or by 3 June.
