Carriageway resurfacing - Plymouth City Council

Written applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced
contractors, with a proven history of highway reconstruction/resurfacing,
wishing to be considered for inclusion on the select list of tenderers for
the following highway maintenance contract.
CARRIAGEWAY RESURFACING AND
RECONSTRUCTION, 2003/2004
The works comprise of approximately 50,000m2 of machine applied bituminous
resurfacing to carriageways. (Including Stone Mastic Asphalt.) There are
various sites programmed, all of which are within the city of Plymouth.
The issue of tender documents is programmed for June 2003. The anticipated
commencement date on site will be August 2003.
Interested contractors must submit with their application the following:-
 a) Financial status and Bankers Reference.
 b) Audited accounts for the latest three years.
 c) Evidence of experience, including details of similar work
undertaken with contract values and dates.
 d) The names, addresses and telephone numbers of at least two
technical referees.
 e) Company profile and organisational structure.
 f) The Company Health and Safety Policy.
 g) Evidence of current Public Liability Insurance of at least
£5,000,000.
