New MD oversees Belle move

Following the successful integration of the production lines from its Chesterfield plant into its Sheen headquarters, the Belle Group has appointed Ray Neilson as managing director.

"The transfer from Chesterfield to Sheen is now complete," said Neilson.

"In the first month in the Sheen plant, during the process of integration, we produced 50% more than our best month at Chesterfield. Things are much more focussed now and we are able to take advantage of product commonalities."

Neilson also confirmed the company was in talks with a host of firms interested in the group's skid steer range. "Some of them are big, some are small, some are from the UK, but most are from overseas," said Neilson.
