Contract Journal has teamed up with the CITB to launch the Construction Site Photography Competition.
The idea of the competition, entry forms for which are now available at www.citb.org.uk, is to boost the image of construction with positive pictures of its people and projects.
The competition will be staged in four rounds between now and November - with a different theme for each round: people; sites; structures (completed exteriors); and structures (completed interiors).
The competition is open to all amateurs, with prizes for the top three photos in each round.
We want you to send in ONE slide or print (which can be digital) that fits the theme (see competition rules). You can enter any or all of the four rounds.
Following the closing date for each round, a team of judges will choose a winner and two runners up, who will be announced in CJ and will then qualify for stage two.
When all four rounds are complete, stage two sees all 12 winning entries assessed again - with a chance to win the holiday if you impress our overall judging panel - or you could win £1,000 if you win the popular vote in a poll of CJ readers.
Note the competition is only open to amateur photographers and we're looking for recently taken, good quality images that fit the theme.
