Deadline set for batched PFI hospitals
The NHS's first batched PFI hospital scheme has been officially advertised in the OJEC. The contract combines three major hospital projects: Salford (£173m); Bradford (£186m); and Tameside (£85m). Firms have until23 June to respond.
A40 and A406 work up for grabs
Transport for London is to invite tenders later this year for work on the A40 Western Avenue and A406 Hanger Lane. The estimated contract values range from £24m to £42m. Work is due to start in April 2004.
