Lawrence secures Wessex Water deal

Lawrence has been appointed as an alliance contractor by Wessex Water. The two-year framework is worth £6m a year.

The deal covers the design and construction of a programme of wastewater treatment, first time sewerage and UID schemes in the Bristol, north Somerset, south Gloucestershire and Wiltshire sectors of Wessex Water's operational area.

The work will be carried out by an integrated team comprising staff from Lawrence, Mott Macdonald and Wessex.

The award follows the successful construction of a storm sewage holding tanks and other works at sites in Salisbury.
