The task of finding the right supplier for the job has now become much easier thanks to a unique new service from Contract Journal. We've linked up with one of the UK's most powerful business-to-business search engines to launch a free-to-use online database of suppliers to the construction industry.
www.CJDirectory.com
gives listings from 55,000 companies nationwide, offering 12,500
different products and services from Aerial Installation to Zinc
Decking Screws. It requires no initial registration and can also be
accessed direct via a search box on the home page of www.contractjournal.com.
Search results are instantaneous and will typically contain a
company or product description, location, contact details and
weblinks where appropriate. In some cases, users can even search
through entire company catalogues using a special feature on the
website.
The robust technology behind the service has been developed by search engine specialist, Kellysearch, who already action over half a million searches a week for industrial specifiers.
Tony Millen, general manager at Kellysearch, who headed up the joint venture said: "The importance of a fully searchable database linking buyers with sellers is unquestionable. The fact that we've launched it with the leading magazine in the sector, means it'll be busy from day one and automatically become the ultimate search engine for construction."
CJDirectory is also freely available to Contract Journal readers in CD Rom format from August onwards.
All relevant companies have a free entitlement to appear on the
site, however as you might expect, enhanced entries will secure a
competitive advantage over others. Package prices are available on
request and at a discounted rate for CPA member companies.
