Cardiff Transportation Partnership
Contract Civil Engineering Works
and Transport related services
The Council seeks a partner to carry out the Works, Services and
Goods
required to enable the Council to provide an Integrated Transport
System
for the County. This will involve the construction of major
Civil
Engineering works and the operation of services and supply of
requisite
goods. It is proposed to use a Public Private Partnership (form to
be
determined - all forms of PPP will be considered). Tenderers will
be
requested to demonstrate the feasibility and partnership
offered.
The Authority is seeking expressions of interest from potential
private
sector partners who wish to work with the Council to provide the
works
goods and services required to implement the Core objectives of the
LTP as
defined in the Candidate Information Pack in a long term
contractual
relationship lasting approximately 20-30 years. As part of these
proposals
tenderers will be expected to put forward innovative methods by
which these
works and services may be funded.
More detailed information will be provided on these matters in
the
Candidate Information Pack which accompanies the
Prequalification
Questionnaire. The Councils LTP is available on line at
www.cardiff.gov.uk.
These parties taking part in this tender process do so at their own
cost.
The Council reserves the right to withdraw from this procurement
and or
abandon process at any stage and shall not be obliged to accept any
tender.
Any party wishing to express an interest must complete a
pre-qualification
questionnaire (PQQ) and return it to the Council. The
