£70m Shropshire PFI school out to tender

Contractors are being invited to pitch for a £70m private finance education project in Shropshire for the Borough of Telford & Wrekin.
The Hadley Learning Community and Jigsaw project involves the design, build, finance and operation of a new children's centre.
The Hadley Learning Community will comprise a primary, full-service secondary and special needs school for pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties. It will also include community learning, arts and sports facilities.
The Jigsaw project involves the construction of a new secondary school with residential accommodation for pupils with emotional behavioural, social and health difficulties on a separate site.
The facilities management concession will run for approximately 25 years at both sites.
Firms have until 28 July to register interest in the scheme.
