Allenbuild wins £10m Bolton bus depot deal

Allenbuild has been appointed by Morbaine tom construct a new bus depot in Bolton for First Manchester at a cost of nearly £10m.

The 44-week contract includes remediation of the 3.3ha site (formerly a steel fabrication facility)by Allenbuild's sister firm VHE.

The 4,526m2 depot comprises a portal framed brickwork and metal-clad 8.9m high structure incorporating the bus garage, workshops, offices, paint bay, MOT bay, fuel bay, tyre bay, body shop, paint room and bus wash facilities.
