Design and construction of dual carriageway - Norfolk County Council

Applications are invited from suitably experienced and qualified
contractors that wish to be included on a short-list of tenderers for the
above project.
The County Council is using EU Procedure for this procurement. A contract
notice was placed in the Official Journal of the European Community on 20
June 2003.
The County Council is seeking early contractor involvement during the
schemes design phase and wishes to carry out the project under a partnering
relationship.
The project involves the detailed design and construction of 1.5km of 7.3m
wide dual carriageway, associated junctions and drainage on the line of an
existing single carriageway.
Tenders are likely to be invited in September 2003. It is anticipated that
six applicants will be invited to submit tenders.
Respondents will be asked to complete a pre-qualification questionnaire
which is available free of charge from the Director of Planning and
Transportation, Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Norwich NR1 2SG, UK.
