LANDSLIDE STABILISATION WORKS
LYME REGIS, DORSET
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced
contractors who wish to be considered for inclusion on a select list of
companies who will be invited to tender for the above works.
The works will comprise the installation of approximately 200 bored piles,
together with ancillary works, which may include landscaping and drainage.
The works will be carried out in environmentally sensitive residential
areas with difficult access.
Applicants must demonstrate their ability to undertake the above works in
their expressions of interest, which must include details of contracts of
similar size and nature undertaken in the last three years, particularly

with respect to slope stabilisation. In addition, contractors applying must
provide the following information with their submissions:
1. The names and addresses of three technical referees who are able to
provide a reference of the applicant's competence in relation to this type
of work. Details of particular projects undertaken by the applicant should
form part of these references.
2. A copy of the Company's latest audited accounts, which should not
be more than 18 months old.
3. The name and address of the Company's bankers.
4. Confirmation that the Company is insured for Public Liability of at
least £5,000,000.
5. Evidence of having acted in the role of Principal Contractor under
the 1994 CDM Regulations on similar schemes.
