The presiding officer of the Scottish
Parliament is to report today (Wednesday) to MSPs on the progress
of the £375m Holyrood project.
George Reid, who last month headed calls for an investigation into
why the project is running two-and-a-half years late and £250m
over budget, will make his progress report to the parliament this
afternoon.
The report, which will concentrate on design issues, is the first of a series of monthly updates on the project following the decision to launch an independent inquiry into the project - headed by Lord Fraser of Carmyllie.
There have already been 2,000 hits on an e-mail link set up by the inquiry team to encourage whistleblowers to leave comments.
