HA to come under scrutiny from NAO
The Highways Agency (HA) is to come under the scrutiny of the
National Audit Office (NAO) over the use of its £250m
resources.
Due out later this year, the report will look at how the HA could
improve congestion using the existing road network.
The investigation will include research into the HA's data and
documentation and will use case studies on completed road
projects.
Evidence will also be taken using surveys from road users, experts
and other key stakeholders.
Comparisons will also be made with other international highways
authorities.
