McNicholas wins £6m warehouse contract

Construction company McNicholas has won a £6.1m contract to build a 1,500 sq m three-storey office block and a 7,000 sq m distribution warehouse for the American distribution services group ProLogis.

The complex is to be built on a commanding site adjacent to the North Circular road at Park Royal, West London.

The office building will have a striking curtain wall façade with an imposing steel canopy and sun screen.

The brownfield site is a former refuse tip and will require major remediation and decontamination work to be carried out by McNicholas Plc prior to construction

Work starts next month and the project is scheduled to take 45 weeks to complete.
