Anglia Television revises Demolition Day format

Anglia Television has revised the format for its proposed Demolition Day show, involving builders and demolition experts.

The programme's format involves two teams competing to build the strongest structure they can in three days using the same materials and tools.

On the fourth day the teams must demolish their competitors' design. The first to flatten their rivals' structure wins.

Each team must consist of a structural engineer/project leader, a builder and a demolition expert.

In a change to the format revealed in last week's CJ, there will be no knockout competitions leading to a grand final.
