Cambridgeshire County Council has adopted a policy of using
Constructionline as its Approved List for the selection of contractors for
tendering purposes.
In order to receive future opportunities, building, mechanical and
electrical contractors who are registered on Constructionline must express
a specific interest in tendering for projects arising through the County
Council's capital programme.
This select list will operate in respect of major capital works where the
estimated contract value will exceed £75,000 and where the contractor will
be appointed as a principal contractor for new build, adaptations and

improvement works. Please note that mechanical and electrical engineering
contractors will predominantly be appointed as domestic sub-contractors.
To be included on the select list it is a requirement that your company is
registered on Constructionline. When writing in you must include your
Constructionline registration number and state the maximum and minimum
contract values for which you wish to be considered.
Contractors who are already on the select list do not need to respond to
this advert as they will be contacted individually by letter. Notification
of inclusion on the select list will be confirmed in writing.
Letters expressing an interest for inclusion on the select list should be
submitted by Monday 1st September 2003 and should be addressed to:
