WATMOS has secured a development study grant funding from the Energy Saving
Trust to develop a community heating scheme with combined heat and power
system to 285 dwellings with the possibility of extending to other local
public buildings.
We are looking for organisations or consortiums who can provide technical
expertise to deliver the findings of the development study.
The works will include the design, construction and installation of plant
and power rooms including combined heat and power system, installation of
pipe work, infrastructure, with heating systems and heat metering, with

prepayment within properties.
The organisation/consortium would operate the system for ten years from
completion.
Organisations/consortiums suitably qualified and experienced wishing to be
considered to tender for these works need to apply in writing to Mr P
Astbury Property Services Manager no later than 19th September 2003 for a
pre-qualification questionnaire and application form.
Completed questionnaires and application forms must be returned by 10th
October 2003.
