SEFTON COUNCIL
TERM MAINTENANCE
CONTRACT FOR HIGHWAY WORKS
Applications are invited from suitably experienced and qualified
contractors that wish to be included on a short list of tenderers for the
above contract, which covers the carrying out of
highway maintenance works including planned and emergency footway and
carriageway repairs, reconstruction and resurfacing.
The estimated annual value is £3 million and the contract duration is five
years commencing on 1st April 2004 with the possibility of extensions up to
and no later than 31st March 2011.
The Council is using EU procedure for this procurement and contractors are
advised to refer to the Contract Notice that was dispatched on the 14th
August 2003.
The Contract Notice requires respondents to apply for a prequalification
prospectus available from Alan Hogan, Sefton Technical Services Department,
Balliol House, Balliol Road, Bootle, Merseyside L20 3NJ.
