Birmingham City Council is currently reviewing the arrangements for the
hire of Plant and Equipment, with a view to finalising its tender strategy
for a new contract.
It is envisaged that this will be a Corporate Contract used by numerous

Labour Organisation. It is proposed to run the new contract for a period of
between 3 and 5 years with an approximate annual spend of £420,000.
As part of the overall consultation exercise the Council is interested in
inviting suitable organisations to take part in a market sounding process
for this contract. This will be an opportunity for all interested
