Aggregate Industries (AI) has bought
Supreme Concrete's paving and landscaping division to widen the
customer base of its Bradstone business.
The sale involves Supreme's Astley factory near Stourport-on-Severn
in Worcestershire and its paving manufacturing equipment at
Barnwell near Oundle in Northamptonshire.
Bradstone will continue to supply Supreme paving and landscape
products from the Astley factory, and the division's 24 employees
will transfer over to Bradstone.
AI's group chief operating officer, Bill Bolsover, said: "We were
attracted to the Astley division because it has many synergies with
the Bradstone brand. The sale provides Bradstone with the
opportunity to widen its customer base and offer existing customers
an increased choice of high quality paving and landscaping
products."
