Pettifer merges contracting

The Pettifer Group has merged its two contracting businesses, Pettifer Construction and PCM Projects.

Group chairman Brian Pettifer said: "The merger will enable the contracting arm to achieve a £100m turnover by 2006. We intend to extend Pettifer Construction's geographical spread into the South, the West and up to Manchester."

Changes in the Warwickshire-based group's consultancy wing see the formation of three distinct businesses: Claruspcm; PCM; and PCM Safety Management. Each will make a push into Europe.
