HSS offers one-stop international service

HSS is expanding its overseas offering with the launch of One Call International. The service is primarily aimed at UK contractors working abroad and comes in response to customers' feedback that hiring in other countries was proving problematic.

HSS franchisees in Europe, the Middle East and the US will provide the services. In addition to the usual range of HSS products, One Call International will be able to source operated plant, building materials and hotel accommodation.

Contractors will not need to open accounts overseas as all transactions are routed through their UK accounts. HSS will arrange all the currency exchange details of the invoicing and provide the overseas suppliers with confidence that they will be paid.

HSS managing director Lister Fielding said: "EU laws require tenders to be open to all contractors, which has led to more UK companies winning projects abroad and this created the need for a service like One Call International.

"The service is unique and is the only one-stop international hire finder," he said.
