John Jones wins Irish work

John Jones, part of the Vinci group, has taken a £7.5m earthworks contract in the Republic of Ireland.

The deal involves bulk earthworks on 13km of the N4/N6 Kinnegad to Kilcock motorway.

Jones will be working for the Eurolink consortium (Siac plus Spanish firms Ferrovial and Cintra) which won the £135m National Roads Authority scheme last year.
The earthworks, totalling three million m3, involves more than one million m3 of rock excavation and processing.

Jones' contract will span almost two years.
