Highway maintenance term contracts - Bristol City Council

BRISTOL CITY COUNCIL

HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE TERM CONTRACTS

Bristol City Council intends to invite tenders for a range of  highway
maintenance term contracts as set out below. Contracts will be operational
from 1st April 2004 for two years, based on best values and availability,
with an optional extension of up to another two years.
Interested parties are requested to submit their application for inclusion
in the tendering of any of these works. a brief description and pre-tender
questionnaire will be issued to all applicants, the latter must be
completed and returned by noon on the 10th October 2003.

Contract  - Brief Description
1 - Machine Laid Surfacing
2 - Surface Dressing

3 - Specialist Surface Treatments
4 - Road Markings
5 - Miscellaneous Services
6 - Traditional Maintenance Works (footway reconstruction, carriageway
patching, etc)
