Vogele's 17t Super 1603-1 paver has made its UK debut following
orders by Leiths (Scotland), Lagan Asphalt, White Mountain
(Surfacing), FM Conway, Colas and E&JW Glendinning.
The machine has an electrically-heated screed as standard (2.5m to 5m), with an option to go to 6.5m, and features a management system that matches engine performance to the paving requirements to reduce noise, wear and fuel consumption.
It is fitted with a 96kW Perkins engine, is said to be highly manoeuvrable and have good all-round visibility. There is also a tracked version, the Super 1600-1.
