Results up at North Midland
North Midland Construction has posted interim results (six months
to 30 June) that show turnover higher at £40m (£34m) and
pre-tax profit ahead at £1.3m (£1.2m).
Nomenca, the group's M&E subsidiary, had an exceptional first
half, said group chairman and chief executive Robert Moyle.
Contract wins for the civil engineering division include projects
for Powergen, Alfred McAlpine Utilities and Yorkshire Electricity
Distribution.
North Midland Building has been awarded a £12.5m contract for
The Junxion, a residential development in Lincoln.
