Hounslow advertises £25m PFI school project

The London Borough of Hounslow is seeking expressions of interest for a £25.7m private finance scheme covering three schools.

The council is looking to replace or refurbish Heston Infant School & Nursery, Heston Junior School and Heston Community School.

Facilities are likely to include specialist and general teaching rooms, catering and dining facilities, administration offices, sports facilities, car parking, grounds, playing fields and landscaping works.

The contract may also require the provision of information and communication technology, furniture, equipment and fittings and other associated services.

Firms wishing to bid for the contract need to register their interest in the project by 29 October 2003.
