Taywood heads CJ Award winners list

A thousand guests witnessed Taylor Woodrow collecting three trophies at the Contract Journal Construction Industry Awards 2003 at the Grosvenor House last night.

The company was named Building Contractor of the Year, and also won the Marketing & Business Development Award and the PPP/PFI Award for the Bromley Hospitals PFI Farnborough Acute General Hospital.

It was also a good night for Controlled Demolition, which won the prestigious Silver Helmet Award for Safety, and was commended in the Demolition Contractor of the Year category, which was won by Brown & Mason.

The Long Term Partnering Award went to Global Alliance (Bovis Lend Lease and BP Oil), while Geoffrey Osborne won the Training Award.
