North West firms urged to attend Quality Mark launch

Domestic building firms and associated trades in the North West of England are being urged to dial up a registration hotline number to book a place at a Quality Mark launch event.

The government-backed national register of approved firms working in the home improvement market is being unveiled to thousands of firms in the region during October and November.

A special hotline on 08000 328 018 has been set up for firms to book free places at the evening events.

The eight enlistment events are being held over three weeks are being held at:

Monday 27 October - Reebok Stadium, Bolton
Tuesday 28 October - Carlisle Racecourse
Wednesday 29 October - The Moat House Hotel, Chester
Thursday 30 October - The City of Manchester Stadium

Monday 3 November - The JJB Stadium, Wigan
Tuesday 4 November - Aintree Racecourse, Liverpool
Monday 10 November - De Vere Hotel, Blackpool
Tuesday 11 November - Park Hall Hotel, near Preston

Representatives of 200 - 300 firms at each event will get details of how Quality Mark works, why it is good for their business, industry
and consumers, together with an insight into what is included in the simple but thorough accreditation process for scheme membership.

A range of live presentation, video footage and other display materials will be used, followed by the guests consulting industry
experts and scheme officials taking them through the accreditation process in more detail.
