Nissan backs Merlo Roto's 'unmatched' innovation


When Nissan Europe's intellectual property manager Matt Holmes needed examples of outstanding innovation, he visited SED to see how other designers thought outside the box. Once at Fen Farm, Holmes selected Merlo's Roto as an example of innovative design.
Merlo UK marketing manager Peter Grant and technical manager Chris Oliver presented the Merlo Roto to a group of Nissan's top engineers during an Innovation Day.
"The Merlo products exemplified all of the features we were trying to get across to our designers for this new product - driver visibility and a light, airy cab being prime points where the Merlo design seemed unmatched," said Holmes.
