Redesigned Master van to show at RAI
Renault is set to unveil a new Master van at the RAI show in
Amsterdam this week. The company said the redesigned van has
improved ergonomics, class-leading safety equipment and new
engines. It will be available in three wheelbases, three heights
and as a van, tipper or chassis cab.
Its exterior design will bring the 2.6t to 3.5t van into alignment
with Renault's lighter offerings. The cab's interior has been
redesigned with a new dashboard, housing and a dash-mounted gear
lever. Not only will the new van have ABS, but also emergency brake
assist and electronic brake distribution.
Two new engine options will be added to the line up: a 2.5-litre
and a 3-litre diesel producing 75kW and 101kW respectively. The
Master goes on sale in the UK on 3 November.
