CTA starts changeover with letter
Letters have gone out to all Certificate of Training Achievement
(CTA) cardholders in preparation for the change-over to the
Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS).
Each of the 157,000 active CTA cardholders should receive one of
two letters depending on whether the Construction Industry Training
Board (which administers the scheme for the Construction Skills
Certification Scheme) has a scanned photograph of the holder.
There have been 20,000 replies so far. Respondents will be issued
with blue CPCS cards.
Holders of orange CPCS cards (which expire at the end of the year)
issued by Lantra and the National Plant Operators' Registration
Scheme will get blue card replacements.
