Alfred McAlpine appoints new group finance director

Alfred McAlpine, the construction, infrastructure and business services group, has announced today (Thursday) that Dominic Lavelle has been appointed group finance director.

Lavelle, 40, who joins McAlpine from Allders where he held a similar position, succeeds Jeff Hume who is leaving the group.

He trained initially as a civil engineer before becoming a chartered accountant. He then worked for a number of public companies before joining Allders in 2000.
