Strickland stock on the increase again

Strickland Direct, the bucket, attachment and ground engage-ment/wearpart supplier, is to further increase the size of its stockholding.
At the beginning of this year, it increased its stockholding to £550,000 to allow next-day delivery of most of its buckets in the most popular weight ranges (the company caters for machines from under 1t to 80t).
This current increase will see the stockholding go up to £650,000 giving a stock of around 500 items and allowing next- day delivery of a wider range of buckets and for multi-bucket orders.
"We have the biggest stock of buckets and attachments in the country and the more we stock, the more we sell," said general manager Warwick Gastinger. "The price we have for the quality we have is very good."
Besides buckets, the company also stocks grapples, concrete pulverisors and quick hitches with less mainstream items and sizes not in stock usually delivered in seven to 10 days.
The company has its own design department allowing tailored solutions for individual customers.
As part of its expansion plans, Gastinger said the company will be looking to put stock into some franchised dealers.
