Mowlem to build £23m leisure and dance venues

Mowlem Building Midlands has netted a brace of contracts in the West Midlands, totalling £23m-plus.
In a £12m deal, the contractor will build a village hotel and leisure club in north Birmingham for joint developers De Vere and Lingfield. Known as Tempus 10, the project will include 125 bedrooms, a leisure club and conference facilities.
Completion is scheduled for the end of 2004.
Also in Birmingham, Mowlem will build a new ballet school for the Elmhurst Ballet School Trust in an £11.2m deal. The scheme includes student accommodation and dance studios.
