Employers wise up to legal threats

Specialist vehicle converter Razorback has seen a rise in sales of its ground-level loading panel van because employers are becoming more aware of litigation threats.
The Razorback concept helps prevent back injuries as it does not require staff to lift loads into the van or push equipment up a ramp; the loadbed is electrically raised and lowered to ground level.
Industries that rely on manual handling injure more than 250,000 workers a year and are responsible for 25% of workplace accidents.
