Atlas QAS generating sets offer low exhaust emissions

Atlas Copco has launched four new generating sets with continuous prime ratings, at 1,500rpm, of between 150kVA and 300kVA at 50Hz.
The units, QAS 150, 200, 250 and 300, are powered by Volvo Penta four-stroke, six-cylinder diesel engines. They are equipped with a foam-lined canopy that reduces noise levels to comply with European regulations and have a maximum sound level of 98dBA.
The company said the units fully comply with the existing QAS range and feature low exhaust emissions, which meet the latest international regulations.
