Mosco denies fallout with SRA

Network Rail's former supply chain director Les Mosco has denied reports of a fallout with the Strategic Rail Authority (SRA) as the cause of his departure from the rail operator.
Mosco told CJ: "There was not a rift with the SRA. The claims are fiction. There is a lot of restructuring at Network Rail and the new position in the supply chain department was just not for me."
Mosco will now head up his own consultancy, Purchasing Strategies, which will be based at his home in Berkhamsted.
"I have gained experience from Network Rail and before that. I will be looking to provide rail and other industries with help in areas such as contract and commercial management, procurement, supply chains and purchasing," he added.
