Highway surfacing contract - Middlesbrough Council

TENDER FOR HIGHWAY SURFACING CONTRACT 2004/2006 (EXTENSION POSSIBLE FOR A FURTHER 1 YEAR)
(HOT ROLLED ASPHALT AND STONE MASTIC ASPHALT)

Middlesbrough Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced organisations who would wish to bid for highway surfacing works, including associated planning works, and traffic management within the boundaries of the Council.
Companies wishing to be considered for inclusion within the final list of providers prior to tendering, should apply in writing to the Head of Transport and Design Services, Middlesbrough Council, PO Box 65, Vancouver House, Gurney Street, Middlesbrough TS1 1QP no later than 12 noon 19th December 2003 marked for the attention of Mr R. G. Wakerley.

The written submission must include the following information:
- Company Profile
- Audited Accounts for the last two years
- Company Registration Number
- A brief description of the range of treatments/materials available
- Examples of similar contracts and references
- Details of quality management systems and equal opportunity statements
Following an evaluation exercise of the submitted information, Middlesbrough Council, will invited no more than four suitable companies to submit detailed submissions for this work. It is anticipated that this will take place in January 2004.
