The Ministry of Defence has called up Emcor for a £53m deal to provide facilities management and mechanical and electrical services at RAF St Athan, south Wales.
The contract relates to an aircraft maintenance site being constructed by Laing O'Rourke under a £70m project. Emcor's contract will span 15 years.
The site, operated by the Defence Aviation Repair Agency, is the
largest aircraft maintenance site in the UK and includes 45,000m2
of hangar accommodation and 20,000m2 of workshops.
