Galliford and Morgan enjoy Scots Water
Scottish Water Solutions (SWS) expects to complete £200m-worth
of work for Scottish Water by the end of March 2004. The
construction work will be shared by Galliford Try and Morgan Est,
the two contractor members of the SWS consortium.
United Utilities heads up SWS and will provide the planning and
design input. Its latest interim results, reported last week, show
pre-tax profit 4.4% higher at £170m. Investor relations
manager Simon Bielecki said the consortium will tackle a total of
£1.1bn of the client's anticipated £1.8bn spend during a
four-year period.
