London Demolition opts for JCB 300XD

London Demolition has bought its first JCB in the form of a 330XD (Xtra Duty) tracked excavator with breaker and bucket attachments.
The machine has a chassis-mounted falling objects protection system, heavy-duty guards for the track motors and turret, strengthened dipper, reinforced linkage, plus upper structure and counterweight buffers.
Before expanding its fleet, London Demolition looked at a number of competitor machines. Contracts director Daniel Green-ham said the company chose JCB because of its attitude and approach and the way it looked after new customers.
He said the machine is performing well. "It has a job to do and it does it as well, if not better that any other I've seen. The whole support and service package is brilliant, both from JCB and from our local dealer Greenshields.
"At the moment we do not have JCBs, but we intend to buy more in the future and we are giving some serious thought to new robot skid steers from the same source," said Greenham.
