David McLean sees turnover rise by 55%

David McLean's latest annual turnover has roared ahead to £170m (£110m) while pre-tax profit stood level at £4.5m. The previous year's figure included an exceptional item running to £1.4m after the disposal of the Princes Dock Development Company.
Construction turnover in the 12 months to 30 June was up 68% to £110m, while the workload in the homes division rose 48% to £70m.
David McLean Developments, the group's third business stream, is leading on the £300m Masshouse scheme in Birmingham.
