BAA picks second generation design consultants

BAA has picked the design consultants to support its capital investment programme over the next five years.

The non-exclusive second generation framework agreements are with the following:

• Architects: Foster & Partners; Nicholas Grimshaw & Partners; Parr Partnership; Reid Architecture; and Ruddle Wilkinson.
  
• Building services engineers: Amec; Hoare Lee; and WSP Buildings.
  
• Structural engineers: Buro Happold; Halcrow; Whitbybird; and WSP Buildings.

The new agreements cover work at BAA's seven UK airports (excluding work on T5) and start on 1 January 2004.
